Project OverviewDHQAT transforms Rwanda’s hospital accreditation into a digital, data driven tool,empowering hospitals to meet standards and improve health outcomes.
ChallengesHospital accreditation in Rwanda was entirely paper‑based, making it difficult to track compliance, verify documentation, and ensure accountability. Manual processes slowed down audits, created risks of lost records, and prevented hospitals from easily demonstrating adherence to standards.
ProcessWe collaborated with healthcare stakeholders to understand accreditation workflows and pain points. By mapping out existing paper processes, we designed a digital system that simplifies documentation, introduces role‑based access for staff, and ensures hospitals can upload evidence and monitor progress in real time.
SolutionA modern accreditation platform that digitizes standards compliance, enabling hospitals to register, manage documentation, and track accreditation status through a centralized dashboard. The system improves transparency, reduces administrative burden, and empowers hospitals to achieve accreditation efficiently while maintaining quality and safety.
